Wolf Hollow, Ipswich, MA

I am a lifetime wolf-lover.  Looking into their eyes is like looking back to the beginning of time.
This is my guy, Arrow, whom I've "adopted" for the next year.  I'm in love.
Check out their site; you may find a new love of your own.

Lucy

Raise your paw if...you're a goofy Brittany Spaniel who's ultimate joy in life is hanging your head out of the window during a ride, even in the cold rain!

Animal Lovers!

Guess who's back to playing with her Scrabble tiles??

Vermont Chair

This is a watercolor painting done by my daughter, Cate, of a very special chair on a very special porch in Vermont.  It was her Christmas gift to me today.

Whenever my mom would come on vacation with us, she would enjoy spending time in this chair on the front porch reading, rocking, chatting, relaxing.  I can't look at this chair without seeing her in it, none of us can.  This painting will keep the memory of this simple piece of furniture forever close.

It's both an empty chair and a full chair.

Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad

Merry Christmas Eve

Wolf Hollow

I "adopted" Arrow for a year.  I hope, no, I PLAN on getting out to Wolf Hollow in 2014.  Wolves, owls and loons...when I hear them, I hear the beginning of time.

Christmas Tablecloth

Raise your hand if...you decided TODAY you needed to make a Christmas tablecloth, so you went to Walmart TODAY and bought fabric.  Who does that?!

One More From The Yard

Amazing photo, courtesy of Bob. Believe it or not, this is a close up looking down toward the base of the fountain with water and ice.

Our Own Backyard, Again

Putting the Memorial Fountain to bed for the winter. This view is looking up from the base of the fountain with ice formations cascading.   (Photo courtesy of Bob)
