Snow Poem

We're due for another Nor'easter this Thursday.  This poem is dedicated to all of my friends who hate winter and dream about summer every single day!  

Strong Words

This is a picture of a note I have on my desk at work.  Every year in 6th grade we read The Watsons Go To Birmingham, 1963, and this is a quote from the older brother to the younger brother towards the end of the book.   It is such a strong message and I love it.

Winter Ride in the Country

There's nothing like a peaceful country ride to help clear your mind. Today's ride was a mere 50 miles!

Bird

    Snow day or not, a bird's gotta eat!

Snowy Scene

   "Chance of flurries today" they said. This morning, the ground was bare. 

Smoky Sky

Very scary seeing all that black smoke. We found out it was a barn that burned; luckily, no one was hurt.
