Graduation Day
Raise your hand if…your daughter graduated from college today, with honors! We are so proud of her, to say the least!
And in three weeks where will we be? Proudly watching daughter #3 graduate from high school!

Hi there and Happy Friday Eve to you all! :)
So, I'm probably breaking a few "rules" here, but sweet Barbara over at http://basia-spiritspace.blogspot.com/ has gifted me with a sweet award...quite literally in fact.
See, I was given this adorable little teddy for my Hot Flashes blog, (which I lovingly refer to as the "fresh" side of myself), and in turn, Barbara was one of my ten favorite blog gals. Well, then, that crazy gal turned around and RE-gave me the award here at Raise Your Hand If...! Is she wonderful or what?
Anyway, instead of re-listing my ten favorites, I'm going to just let every single one of you know that I have found more inspiration, acceptance, creative ideas, laughter, joy, thoughtfulness, mindfulness, and wonderful ideas from each of you, no exceptions.
When I don't read your blogs, I miss them. When you don't write for awhile, I miss you. When you post something you've created, it gets me thinking that maybe, just maybe, I can do something, too. You have no idea how badly I needed that.
So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all. You all matter to me a helluva lot.

Raise your hand if...you had a wild and crazy windstorm yesterday which knocked down over 100 trees in your town, INCLUDING a giant limb that took out not only your electricity, but your phone, cable and internet as well!!!
We had a live electric wire in front of the house with two cruisers keeping anyone from getting close...it was pretty unnerving. It can be pretty peaceful when there are no lights, no phone, no TV, and no computer, though. But I have to say that I did a silent cheer when the power came back on, mostly because it was 3 a.m., but also because without power I can't do my hair, and without doing my hair I can't go to work, and without going to work...well, you get the picture.
Oh, by the way...has anyone ever read a book by Claire Cook? If not, run, don't walk, to either the nearest bookstore or your library and start reading. She is absolutely wonderful!
Ok, off to make supper and praise the cable company because they just fixed the cable and it's Ghosthunters night!! Hope you are all well. :)
