Raise your hand had a wild and crazy windstorm yesterday which knocked down over 100 trees in your town, INCLUDING a giant limb that took out not only your electricity, but your phone, cable and internet as well!!!

We had a live electric wire in front of the house with two cruisers keeping anyone from getting was pretty unnerving. It can be pretty peaceful when there are no lights, no phone, no TV, and no computer, though. But I have to say that I did a silent cheer when the power came back on, mostly because it was 3 a.m., but also because without power I can't do my hair, and without doing my hair I can't go to work, and without going to work...well, you get the picture.

Oh, by the way...has anyone ever read a book by Claire Cook? If not, run, don't walk, to either the nearest bookstore or your library and start reading. She is absolutely wonderful!

Ok, off to make supper and praise the cable company because they just fixed the cable and it's Ghosthunters night!! Hope you are all well. :)

  1. Nothing like the power going off to put a wrench in one's plans. Glad it's back on.
