Raise your hand if... your huge, healthy, tomato-laden plants were hit with blight and you had to dig them up and dispose of them. Yeah, us too. (sigh).






So...day one of hoping to ripen these babies on the porch instead of on the vine.














Over the weekend, we took a little trip in the country, heading to my brother's girlfriend's house, and came upon this gorgeous field of sunflowers! She says that all day long, the flowers will turn to follow the sun...how cool is that!

  1. Well, at least you got tomatoes before you had to dig up the plants. I planted tomatoes and the plant did absolutely nothing. They literally didn't grow even an inch!

    we are hoping jason's beloved plants won't get it but it seems like everyone else's are.
    nothing like home grown tomatoes!

  3. Ours are slow we pulled off two today and the cherry ones are doing better each day.I think everyone is having gardening issues this year.
