Raise your hand have tomorrow off and hope to, I mean, plan to, spend the day painting signs for Lori.  :)  Me too!  I'll be turning my heater on in the morning and hopefully getting out into my cottage right after breakfast.

The air is good and chilly, the wind is blowing, the leaves are 99% down, and the sky has that deep grayish-purple that only comes around in the fall.   I love it.  How is it where you are?

  1. Sounds like a great day you are going to have. What am I doing? I'm trying out a new fingerless glove pattern I found in a crochet magazine. I want to make some for Cherish. I'm making a test one to see if I can do it and I'm almost done. I've already made two mistakes, but no big deal, I think I understand the pattern. I'll be blogging it if it works out.
I'm taking my mom to Walmart (shoot me now) and then to visit her friend at a rest home. Have a great time painting!

  2. OH, please tell me it's truly not going to take you all day to paint those signs??? I'd feel terrible if you blew your whole day off because of my family deadline! :(

  3. Hi Lori. No worries! There is nothing that relaxes me more than spending hours in my cottage, lost in quiet, creating; it makes me so happy...I've been looking forward to today all week!

Hi Belle. I'm looking forward to your crocheting project. The only thing I can crochet is straight lines; hence the abundance of afghans around here!
