There are worse things than being awakened by a beam of morning sunlight sneaking through the bedroom window-shade, I must say. It was almost, well, promise-filled....promising a warm day (at least above freezing, that is), promising a peaceful day, promising a day filled with family and fresh air and maybe some creativity. What a perfect way to wake up.
